Primtime Arcades began life over 20 years ago during the summer of 2004 under the original name of ‘Pinball For Everyone’. Back then the business was a little different to the one you see now and focused primarily on the rental of coin operated amusement equipment to pubs, clubs and youth centres. At our peak, “PFE” had over 2000 arcade machines, pool tables and pinball machines in continuous operation throughout the United States.
The Operating business was ultimately sold in 2006 and the company’s resources were pointed in a brand new direction. With our rental days behind us a new course was set to become an online supplier for the type of equipment we had become so used to dealing with.
PrimeTime Arcades website went live in 2009 under the guidance of New Managing Director James Oliver and with technical expertise of Jonathan Kerr ( Now Technical Director). From the very start www.primetimearcades.com provided the most comprehensive online catalogue of amusement equipment in the US. The website gave both trade and private clients access to a huge range of products at the click of a button. By 2014, 57% of the company’s sales has shifted to the private ‘home market’. In essence you could buy your home games room equipment for the same price a trade customer could buy products to kit our their amusement arcade.
